They will see his face, and his name will be on their foreheads. And night will be no more. They will need no light of lamp or sun, for the Lord God will be their light, and they will reign forever and ever.
THE MOST REVEREND MARTIN E. BOYLE, STD
On February 24, A.D. 2017, The Most Reverend Martin E. Boyle, STD (Retired), went to be with the Lord he loved and served for many years in The Catholic Charismatic Church. He served our late Patriarch Michael as his Chaplain in Gorham, NH, for almost 18 years traveled with him around the world. In that effort he made many friends among both lay and clergy, all of whom will miss him.
Later, he served Bishop of the Diocese of Saint Matthias and was in residence at Saint Robert's Monastery in Enfield, CT. He had spent the last year at Parkway Pavilion Health Care Center where he was in charge of the Rosary group and Bible study, and he soon became the "Bishop of Parkway" At Christmas, looking the part, he played Santa Claus and became beloved to all the residents.
Though he never married, all with whom he came into contact sensed that the term "father" was not merely a clerical form, but a reflection of how they felt in his presence. He is survived by his sister, Anne Marie Boyle of Florida. We rejoice that his faith in and love for Jesus sustained him through his final illness and that he is now at peace. Please remember him in your prayers. Requiem æternam dona ei, Domine, et lux perpetua luceat ei.
